A trip to an NMRA convention

Graham and I attended the “C&P Junction” Mid-Eastern Region, Chesapeake and Potomac Division’s local NMRA convention on October 11th and 12th. I attended by myself on Friday and took Graham on Saturday. We had a great time and really enjoyed the various clinics that we attended. Graham especially enjoyed Bernie Kempinski’s Civil War era modular railroad, McCook’s Landing. If you every have a chance to go and see Bernie’s lay, or visit his home layout go. Military railroad modeling is not very common in our hobby, but Bernie has taken this area to a new level.
